City of Laurel Mayor Keith R. Sydnor is pleased to announce the development of the City’s first ever Sustainability Plan.
As residents, your input and involvement in this process is invaluable and will shape the final plan.
Focus groups will serve as the platform for collaboration, brainstorming, and developing innovative ideas to further enhance our city’s strategies and approach to sustainability efforts.
No formal experience or training in sustainability planning is required to join and participate in the Focus Groups or Plan development.
To kick-off development of the Plan, the City is hosting an introductory meeting where you can meet City Representatives, have questions answered, connect with your community members, and initiate the formation of Focus Groups and sustainability topics.
The meeting will take place:
January 18, 2024,
5:30pm-7:30pm, at the Joseph R. Robison Laurel Municipal Center
8103 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel MD, 20707
Food and refreshments will be provided starting at 5:00 PM.
- Attendance at the introductory meeting is strongly encouraged, but not required.
Your confirmation of attendance would be greatly appreciated to help us plan accordingly.
