Laurel Cats Needs Volunteers to Help with the Growing Cat Population

Laurel Cats Logo with Paw

The current housing challenges of some City of Laurel residents have greatly increased the number of animals roaming the streets of our community. Laurel Cats needs your help in finding homes for abandoned house cats.

The facility is looking for residents who can volunteer as fosters. Also, if you are looking for a fur-baby, Laurel Cats has adult house cats ready for adoption.

Laurel Cats cannot take in surrendered cats or get more cats off the streets until it can find homes for the animals currently in the foster program.

If you are interested in adopting a cat, contact Laurel Cats at 301-886-0161 or visit the website at

Your ongoing support is needed and appreciated.
