Focus Groups Completed; Community Open House to be Held June 6, 2024
Mayor Sydnor wants to invite everyone to be part of existing and new opportunities to have your ideas heard. Join community focus groups and attend the Open House to learn about how you can help create the City’s first Sustainability Plan -- People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace/Partnership. Our Sustainability Plan will integrate the City’s environmental health, social equity and economic vitality to ensure that the Laurel we leave our children and grandchildren is healthy and prosperous for everyone.

As the city continues to develop actionable strategies formed from the focus group sustainability topics, we need input from all residents!
A Community Open House will be held for Laurel residents and community stakeholders to meet, receive project updates, and give their input on the Focus Groups recommendations. There will be morning and evening sessions offered:
