The City of Laurel will be closed on Thursday November 27 and Friday November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. During that week we will have an adjusted trash, recycling, and composting collection schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday collections are unchanged
- Thursday and Friday collections will be on Wednesday, November 26, the day before the holiday
- There will be no yard debris or bulky item collections on Wednesday the 26
- The leaf vaccuum truck will be in operation but may arrive to your neighborhood ahead of schedule, so place your leaves out at least 1 day in advance
The next yard debris and bulky item collection will be on Wednesday, December the 3rd, following the holidays.
Friday December 5th marks our final day of leaf vacuuming.
