[ARCHIVED] Kids to Park Day 2024

Kids to Parks Day 2024

Celebrate National Kids to Parks Day at the Granville Gude Park!

Any school-aged child 12 and under who completes a full lap around the Granville Gude Lake path on this date during Lakehouse operating hours will receive a one-time free boating pass to use any time during the 2024 season. Register at the Lakehouse concession window. Boating rules and regulations apply.

The event is free and is sponsored by the Laurel Department of Parks and Recreation.

#MyParkMyWhy

Our department is excited about joining the National Park Trust’s #MyParkMyWhy campaign because we are thrilled to share the awesome parks that Laurel has to offer and why we think parks are important for all people to experience. We challenged Mayor Craig A. Moe and the City of Laurel Councilmembers to share their favorite parks. Now they want you to create your video and use the hashtag #MyParkMyWhy and be sure to tag the National Park Trust and Laurel Parks and Recreation.

Date: Saturday, May 18th, 2024

Time: 3-7pm

Location: Granville Gude Park (8300 Mulberry Street)
