Severe Weather Alert - WINTER STORM WATCH
The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for the City of Laurel from 7:00 PM on Saturday, January 24th through 7:00 AM Monday, January 26th. A major winter storm is forecasted to impact the State of Maryland this weekend. Widespread significant snowfall will begin late Saturday evening and taper off late Sunday night. Heavy snow mixed with sleet and freezing rain is possible. At least 5 inches of snow is likely with over 10 inches of snow possible. Travel will be very difficult, if not impossible.
