The Department of Public Works will be hosting a Construction Debris and Scrap Metal Drop Off Event on Saturday, June 24th from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Fairall Foundry Public Works building at 305 First Street. Please enter the yard through our Little Montgomery Street entrance located off of US Route 1.
Construction Debris: We be accepting remodeling debris such as drywall, scrap wood/lumber, dry paint cans, and broken tiles. We will not be accepting any wet chemicals such as wet paint, gasoline, pesticides, or hazardous materials such as roof shingles.
Scrap Metal: We will be accepting scrap metal items such as old bikes, lawn mowers (emptied of gasoline), metal countertop appliances, car rims, and metal sinks. We will not be accepting white goods such as refrigerators, ovens, or washing machines.
