The City of Laurel Board of Election Supervisors has completed the recount and finalized the results of the 2025 General Election. All in-person machine ballots from Early Voting and Election Day, as well as all mail-in and provisional ballots, have been reviewed and tabulated. (Click Here for Official Press Release)
In accordance with the City of Laurel Charter, a mandatory recount is required when the margin between the two highest vote-getting candidates is less than three (3) percent of the total votes cast for that office. Based on the unofficial results, the margins in the City Council, At-Large race fell within that threshold.

The results will be certified during the Special Mayor and City Council Meeting on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at the Joseph R. Robison Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel, Maryland 20707. The meeting is open to the public and will be broadcast live on LaurelTV.org, YouTube (@LaurelTVOfficial), Comcast (71/SD, 996/HD), and Verizon (Channel 12).
