Tim Miller

Mr. Tim Miller’s background is in Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management to include stormwater management, utilities, buildings, site development, estimating, surveying, permit and planning review and staff management. He was hired in 2022 as the Deputy Director, after having retired from KCI Technologies, Inc., a nationally recognized engineering and consulting services firm, where he managed the Maple Lawn Office with oversite of a staff of a staff of 39 employees. 

While at KCI, Mr. Miller was responsible for completing over 125 projects within the City as an Engineering Consultant and is very familiar with the City’s operations. Mr. Miller has a B.S. Degree from Penn State University, is an MDE Certified Sediment Control Inspector and has extensive knowledge of the City, as well as Prince Georgee’s County DIPE, MNCPPC, WSSC and MDE. He was also the Chief Engineer for the Quai state-operated Maryland Food Center Authority in Jessup, Maryland, prior to joining KCI, where he oversaw Market improvements, construction of the new Authority headquarters and other developments of the nearly 500-acre commercial park.
