Christina L. Cornwell, CPM, CEM

Christina Cornwell is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) with over 15 years of experience in local and state Emergency Management agencies. Her involvement over the years in Emergency Management includes planning, grant management, outreach, training, and exercise design/evaluation.

In 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017, she received the Emergency Management Person of the Year Award from the Northern Anne Arundel County Chambers of Commerce’s Annual Community Safety Award.

She is currently the Director of the City of Laurel, Maryland Department of Emergency Management. In this role, Christina coordinates all aspects of Emergency Management: prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery.
