Facilities

The Barkman-Kaiser Public Safety Complex houses the Laurel Police Department’s sworn and non-sworn personnel. The facility houses the police department’s activities, men’s and women’s locker rooms, weight room, and training rooms.

Besides administrative staff, the building offers space for the various divisions within the department including but not limited to:

• Communications
• Criminal Investigation’s Division
• K9
• Motorcycle Unit
• Records
• SWAT

The complex also has holding cells and provides storage for their various specialized vehicles.
