Laurel, MD – June 9, 2025 - The City of Laurel Department of Public Works will start the Intersections Safety Enhancements on Main Street. This project will include construction of new bump-outs at multiple street intersections starting from C Street to Seventh Street.
During construction, access to the street may be limited. On-street parking will be restricted during the project period for necessary repairs and upgrades. Temporary no parking signs will be posted on the street at least 72 hours before the work starts outlining specific times regarding the restrictions. Cars parked in the temporary no-parking areas during restricted times and dates will be towed at the owner’s expense. We appreciate your cooperation by not parking along posted areas during the construction period.
The street improvement project will begin on June 12, Weather Permitting. No parking signs will be installed 72 hours before the start of the project to notify residents of the construction.
