Laurel Mayor and City Council Ask for Your Input on Community Survey

News - Press Releases Posted on July 24, 2023

One of the City of Laurel’s highest commitments is to work with its residents and businesses to bring the best services we can to the community.

To make this happen, we need your input! Mayor Craig A. Moe and the Laurel City Council are asking you to take part in a survey.

Over the last couple of months, the City has been working with Zelos, LLC, to create a strategic plan to increase your Government’s potential. The firm conducted focus groups with City employees and now they want your input.

To reach as many of our communities as possible, we will use all forms of communication to reach you. Starting today, July 24, 2023, we will distribute the survey to you in various ways: mailings, social media, digital signs, website, and hard copies of the surveys in all our facilities.

This survey asks for residents’ opinions on how well we are serving the City of Laurel. From services, to events, to government operations.

How can you participate? Check your mailbox for hard copies with return address envelopes in both English and Spanish. Search our social media sites for links to the online survey. Visit our website, www.cityoflaurel.org, and fill it out online. You can quickly scan the QR code right here in this press release or visit https://bit.ly/CityofLaurelSurvey2023 and take the survey today! Be aware, whether you do the survey electronically or through a hard copy, you only need to do it once.

It's that simple!

The deadline to complete this survey is August 4, 2023. We know it’s a quick turnaround, but we want YOUR input. Help US create a better government for YOU!

Questions? Call Christina Cornwell, Director/Emergency Manager of Community Resources and Emergency Management at 301-725-5300 ext. 2232

Thank you in advance for participating!
