This program is intended to provide a grant to assist the homebuyer in paying the down-payment or closing costs of the home. The program aims to increase homeownership opportunities for eligible individuals and families, and to make homeownership more accessible and affordable for homebuyers in the City, empowering individuals and families to achieve the dream of owning their own home

Returning Citizens Grant Program
This program reflects the City of Laurel’s commitment to supporting second chances, fostering community reintegration, and promoting local economic development. Employment is a necessary component in facilitating successful reentry of formerly incarcerated individuals. This grant program will only accept applications from the business entity.
