Shop Small Banner

Shop Small Saturday is a day to celebrate our local businesses and promote shopping local. This year, the Department of Economic and Community Development has a fun way to celebrate it!

Shoppers are asked to come and pick up a FREE Shop Small Passport from the lobby of the Laurel Municipal Center at 8103 Sandy Spring Road. When you shop at a participating small business November 22nd-30th, you will receive a stamp on your passport.

If you own a small business, and would like to participate in the Passport Campaign, please call Leigha Steele at 301-725-5300 ext. 2302 or email her at [email protected]!

Once six stamps are received, from six different participating bsuinesses, turn in your completed passports by December 3rd to the Laurel Municipal Center and a random winner will be chosen and announced on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

The prize is a gift basket filled with goods, coupons and gift cards from local businesses (see below)!

Remember, when small businesses thrive, our communities thrive!

Check out the participating Shop Small merchants below and make sure to stop in on November 24th and get one of your six stamps from six different participating businesses!
