Mayor Craig A. Moe and Emergency Operations Director, Martin Flemion, invite the public to the Laurel CrimeLine Fundraiser this Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 12:00Noon – 10:00pm at Tampico Grill located on Route 1 South at 42 Washington Boulevard.

Laurel CrimeLine is a program to provide rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of criminals committing certain crimes in the City of Laurel. CrimeLine set up a committee to administer the program over four years ago because of a local crime that was committed in the City of Laurel and the Laurel Police were not permitted to offer a reward for information through the County Tip Line. The Laurel CrimeLine Committee is comprised of local citizens with varied backgrounds and professions.  The program administers funds from donations received from businesses, residents and fundraisers in and around the City of Laurel. Donations are tax deductible as the program is a tax exempt organization.

Tampico will donate 40% of your food and alcohol purchase to the Laurel Police Department CrimeLine. Mayor Moe asks that when residents come in to participate, please be sure to let your server know you are there for the CrimeLine Fundraiser.
