The City of Laurel Special Vehicle Parking Permit Program provides an opportunity to allow certain vehicles that meet established criteria to park on City streets.  The permit application fee is $25.00 and may be paid by cash, check, credit card or money order.  The fee is due with the submission of the application.  This program is available to the residents of the City of Laurel and is a temporary parking permit program administered by the Office of the Fire Marshal & Permit Services to allow residents to park certain oversized vehicles in front of their residence for a pre-determined period of time (several days to six months).  Special parking permits are not issued on Snow Emergency Routes between October 31 and April 1.  The permit must be displayed on the vehicle and the vehicle can only be parked at the specified location.  If the Office of the Fire Marshal & Permit Services receives any complaints, it will be necessary to hold a public hearing. For further information, please call (301) 725-5300, extension 2238.
