PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY SCHOOL SURCHARGE RATE INCREASE (COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. CR-57-2017)

THE FEE INCREASE CHARGED FOR NEW RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY AND MULTI-FAMILY BUILDING PERMITS:

$15,972.00 PER LOT/UNIT

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY RATE
INCREASE (COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. CR-56-2017)

THE FEE INCREASE CHARGED FOR NEW RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY AND MULTI-FAMILY BUILDING PERMITS:

$7,541.00 PER LOT/UNIT

Please note: The City of Laurel Office of the Fire Marshal and Permit Services is required to collect these fees and forward the funds to Prince George’s County for each new residential and/or multi-family dwelling unit constructed within the incorporated City limits. All checks for payment of the fees should be made payable to the City of Laurel.

 

New Residential Single Family

Note: All permits for new residential construction must be paid for at the time of application. City of Laurel Impact Fees and Home Builder Guaranty Fund Fee must be paid at the time of building permit application.  The School Facilities Surcharge must be paid on a separate check. Prince George’s County Public Safety Surcharge must be paid at time of application and must be on a separate check. 

Multi-family New Construction

Please contact the Office of the Fire Marshal and Permit Services for information regarding new construction of multi-family dwellings.
