The City of Laurel is committed to its core value of community safety and is proactively taking steps to limit potential social spreading of COVID-19. To accommodate social distancing recommendations, we are offering many services remotely.

In order to enhance service to you we are launching our new online permitting.  The online permitting system will improve services such as:

  • Apply for a permit online
  • Get current permit information throughout the plan check and inspection process
  • Zoning applications/Historic District Certificate of Approvals
  • Renew Burglar and Rental licenses
  • Make payments online

Anyone wishing to apply for a permit within the City must now create an online account.  If the permit you wish to apply for is not available as an online application we have permits forms available for you to download.

Quick access instructions to create your account, apply online and make a payment are below.
