Exciting teen trips are offered to area teens, ages 12-17! 

All trips are on a first come, first serve basis and are subject to change or cancellation due to insufficient registration. Pre-registration is MANDATORY. The parent MUST register their own teen in the system if they already are not in the system. Once in the system, it is in there for life and you can register online anytime and anywhere.  Registration and payment for all programs/trips can be processed at any City of Laurel facility during regular business hours or online. You can register for all of our programs at the Laurel Armory, Robert J. Di Pietro Community Center or City Hall. Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis. Refunds are only issued if a program/trip is cancelled. Registration and monies will not be taken on the day of the trip. Trip costs include transportation and admission unless stated otherwise. Parental permission slips are required for all trips. All trips leave from Robert J DiPietro Community Center, 7901 Cypress Street, Laurel MD 20707.

6793 SATURDAY, APRIL 6- PICNIC, & EXPLORE AT GREAT FALLS NATIONAL PARK along the Potomac River. Enjoy both the relaxation and the adventure of walking the C & O Canal path and climbing the cliffs. View the spectacular waterfalls! Take your own lunch, eat along the shore or snack bar is available. Depart 9:00 AM  Return 4:00 PM  COST: $5.00


6794 WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17 - PHOTO SHOOT @ NATIONAL ARBORETUM & THE NATIONAL ZOO /SPRING BREAK SCHOOL’S OUT-Enjoy the 400 acre paradise of thousands of species of trees and plants including the miniature Bonsai exhibit, the Asian Forest, the Conifer Forest, gardens of rare flowers and beautiful landscaping. The NATIONAL ZOO features hundreds of animals and creatures from around the world including the Giant Pandas. Bring your own lunch for picnicking at either the Arboretum or zoo or buy lunch at the zoo. Be sure to have your phone charged or take your best camera for these outstanding opportunities. Visit the countries of ITALY, FRANCE, ENGLAND, IRELAND, SCOTLAND, & NEW FRANCE (FRENCH CANADA) and enjoy the scrumptious, mouth-watering, food specialties of each (on your own) as well as the ethnic entertainment and shops. Annually voted "Most Beautiful Park." Too much for one day, so this is a two day trip which includes 2-day admission, overnight hotel (Quality Inn), hotel breakfast, and round trip transportation. 6800 WEDNESDAY, JULY 17- LURAY CAVERNS/SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK/SKYLINE DRIVE- With a guided tour, explore the natural wonders of the majestic underground Caverns. Cool off in the summer where it’s a constant 54 degrees. The splendor of the stalactites and stalagmites will leave you in awe. Includes admission to Caverns, as well as the Antique Car Museum, ToyTown Junction and Luray Valley Museum. We will also do a sightseeing drive tour of the Shenandoah National Forest and hike to the magnificent Dark Hollow Falls as well as enjoy the Virginia countryside.  We will stop for lunch (on your own) at a local restaurant.
