The City of Laurel will be closed on Friday, November 11th in observance of the Veteran's Day Holiday. Refuse and recycling pickups will be adjusted this week:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Trash, Recycling and Compost will be normal.
  • Friday: Trash, recycling and compost will be picked up on Wednesday  Please note the printed calendar delivered in December 2021 incorrectly shows Thursday because it was printed before the City's switch to once-a-week pickups in May.
  • Friday: Leaf Vacuuming will take place on Saturday.
  • There will be no bulky item pickup or yard debris pickups this week.

The next regularly scheduled Bulky Item pickup and Yard Debris collections will be on Wednesday, November 16th.  Please be sure to call or email the Department of Public Works by Monday, November 14th to request a pickup.
