Mayor Moe and the Department of Public Works are pleased to announce that the City's leaf vacuuming has been extended!

The leaf vacuum truck will run two extra weeks, until Friday December 17th, thanks to cooperating weather!  If you have any leaves left to collect please get them out as soon as possible!  In the event of snow residents are encouraged to place their leaves in paper bags for collection. After the snow melts, if DPW is still collecting leaves, residents can begin to place leaves back at the curb for collection.  To learn more about the City's leaf vacuuming, including your collection day and how to prepare leaves, please visit the leaf collection page.

After the 17th any leaves left over for collection will need to be bagged in brown paper bags and you will need to call the Department of Public Works to request a yard debris pickup.  The City's yard debris collections happen year round!  Through winter months the schedule is approximately every other week with our next scheduled yard debris pickup being on December 15th.  The deadline to request a pickup for the 15th is on Monday, December 13th.  For more information on our yard debris collections, please visit our yard debris collection page.
