Weather permitting, a contractor for the City of Laurel’s Department of Public Works will start the Citywide Concrete Repair Project on selected streets and locations throughout the City within the next few weeks.  This work will include concrete sidewalk repairs, curb and gutter replacements, and pedestrian ramp upgrades.

During construction, street parking will be restricted during the day for approximately 8 hours to allow the contractor access to do the necessary repairs.  “No Parking” signs with specific dates and times regarding the parking restriction will be posted on the streets impacted by the construction at least 48-hours prior to the beginning of any work. Cars parked on the street during the restricted times and dates WILL be towed at the OWNER’S expense. We appreciate your cooperation by not parking along posted areas during the construction period.

This work is expected to begin around mid-May and be completed by the end of August 2020.  If you have any questions, please contact Department of Public Works at 301-725-0088.
