Oh no what happened?  My recycling was not collected!

NO PLASTIC BAGS

As many of you already know, plastic bags CANNOT be collected in your recycling.  Plastic bags are damaging to the machinery and contaminate the recycling stream, making the recycling unusable.  If your recycling has been tagged and left – please call Public Works!  Public Works can answer your recycling questions as well as make arrangements to get your recycling collected.  We can be reached at 301-725-0088 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For a quick reference guide on recycling you can print a copy of our Recycling Magnet from the PDF linked below.  If you would like a magnetized version for your refrigerator, please contact our offices.
