With both Christmas Day and and New Years Day being Federal holidays, Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that City and Passport Offices will be closed for these holidays on Monday, December 25, 2017 and Monday, January 1, 2018.  The Department of Public Works will be on an adjusted pickup schedule for these two weeks:

For the week of Christmas (December 25th - December 29):

  • Monday refuse and recyclables will be collected on Tuesday, December 26th, 
  • Tuesday’s refuse and recyclables will be collected on Wednesday, December 27th,
  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday refuse and recyclables will be collected as normal.

For the week of New Years (January 1st - January 5th):

  • Monday refuse and recyclables will be collected on Tuesday, January 2nd, 
  • Tuesday’s refuse and recyclables will be collected on Wednesday, January 3rd,
  • Wednesday, Thursday and Friday refuse and recyclables will be collected as normal.

There will also be no Residential Special Pickup or Yard Debris collections on Wednesday December 27th or Wednesday, January 3rd. Public Works next scheduled Residential Special Pickup and Yard Debris collection will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2017.
