America Recycles Day Event

November 15th is America Recycles Day and Mayor Moe is pleased to announce that in honor of America Recycles Day the Department of Public Works will be waiving the additional fees charged for electronic devices for the Wednesday, November 15th Bulky Item Pickup.

If you schedule a regular Bulky Item Pickup for Wednesday November 15th the normal base-rate of $10 will apply, however the additional $5.00 charge per electronic device and $20.00 charge per large television will be waived!  You can put out your old  computer monitors, CPUs, CD/DVD/VCR players, radios, printers, keyboards, televisions, stereos, speakers, game stations and other similar items without paying any additional charges. 

The deadline to request any bulk item pickup is the Monday before. So be sure to call DPW at 301-725-0088 or email us at [email protected] to schedule your bulk item pickup by Monday November 13th!
