Craig A. Moe to Host Patuxent River Clean-Up on International Day of Action for Rivers

 

 

Washington DC – Congressman Glenn Ivey and City of Laurel Mayor Craig A.Moe announced today that the International Day of Action for Rivers will be commemorated with a clean-up effort on the banks of the Patuxent River  in Laurel on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.  

Who:  Rep. Glenn Ivey, Laurel Mayor Craig A. Moe, Eagle Harbor Mayor Noah Waters, Patuxent Riverkeeper Fred Tutman, Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice – Ms. Carmera Thomas-Wilhite of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and other community stakeholders and grass roots environmental groups

What: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION FOR RIVERS - Patuxent River Clean-up

When: Tuesday, March 14, 2023

  •  11: 30 a.m.- 2 p.m. Patuxent River Cleanup

Why:  To demonstrate how cleaning up the Patuxent River will have a positive impact on the environment and the Chesapeake Bay
