City of Laurel offices, including the Passport Office will be closed on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th for Thanksgiving.

The Mayor and City Council meeting on Monday, November 28th is cancelled as well.

The Department of Public Works will be picking up Trash and Recycling on an altered schedule  during the week of November 21-25:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Trash, Recycling and Compost collections are Unchanged.
  • Thursday and Friday Trash, Recycling and Compost collections will be on Wednesday, November 23rd.
  • There will be no yard debris or bulky item collection this week.

Our next residential special pickup and yard debris collection will be on Wednesday, November 30th.  Please call 301-725-0088 or email [email protected] to schedule your pickup.
