Mayor Craig A. Moe has formally proclaimed September as “National Preparedness Month”.

It’s a great opportunity to do some simple things that will help keep you, your family, and your property safe before disaster strikes.

This year’s theme for National Preparedness Month  is “A Lasting Legacy”.

Each week in September, the City of Laurel Office of Emergency Management (OEM) will share emergency preparedness tips on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media sites.    They are:

  • Facebook: LaurelCityOEM
  • Twitter: @LaurelCityOEM
  • Instagram: LaurelCityOEM

For more important emergency preparedness tips, information and resources, please visit the Office of Emergency Management page on the city’s website  at https://www.cityoflaurel.org/em.
