Laurel Pride Day Vendor Application 2022
Thank you for your interest in participating at the First Laurel Pride Day Celebration in Laurel, Maryland. This year's event will be held on Saturday October 8, 2022. The festival will include performers, speakers, and vendors. The day will begin with set up on the field by 10:30 am and conclusion of the event will be at 4 pm. Vendors may begin setting up as early as 8:30 am and must be cleaned up by 5 pm. We are seeking vendors who support and provide services for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Once we review your submission, you will receive an email confirmation with directions for payment. Payment is due in full by Friday, September 2022.
Each vendor will be provided with a 10'x10' area. One additional space may be purchased for an additional fee. We do not provide electrical power, ice, chairs, tables or canopies/tents. If you are using a generator, it needs to be a low noise generator. The Fire Marshall will inspect all generators to ensure the meet current safety regulations. Any vendor that sells food items, you will need to get a Special Food Service Permit from the Prince George's County Health Department. These permits are issued to prospective food and drink vendors that operate in conjunction with our event. A representative from the PG County Health Department will be on site event day to inspect your booth. A completed Temporary Food Service Facility Permit Application (PDF) and fee must be submitted to the Prince George's County Health Department no later than 7 business days prior to the event taking place. Those who choose to mail the application should send the completed form and fee at least 2 weeks prior to the event start date. Note to all Food Vendors: If you are cooking under a pop up canopy or within 2 feet of the canopy, the canopy must meet NFPA 701 regulations. The local Fire Marshall will be inspecting to ensure compliance.
If you are interested in participating at the festival as a vendor, please complete the following application. Prices are included in the application below. Artists will be asked to submit photos of your work upon completion of the application. You will be notified of acceptance by email with information to submit payment. Completed applications must be submitted by September 16, 2022. Late applications may be accepted up until September 23rd, providing space available. You will be notified of your space assignment and set-up instructions by email on or about September 26th. There will be a limited number of similar type of vendors accepted into the festival, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
