All branches of our first responders and the American Legion will join with the City of Laurel for a Joint Memorial Day Ceremony on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Ivy Hill Cemetery.

The event begins at 11 a.m. and will be broadcast LIVE on Laurel TV on Comcast 996 and 71 and Verizon channel 12.

It will also be LIVE on the  City of Laurel - Government Facebook Page and livestreamed on LaurelTV.org and Laurel TV Official YouTube channel.

We are providing as many avenues as we can so you can view the program from just about anywhere with an internet connection.  Mayor Craig A. Moe says the public is also invited to attend the ceremony in person as we pay tribute to the fallen.

Wreaths will be placed at each of the First Responder Memorials in the cemetery prior to the ceremony.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the City Council Chambers at the Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel, MD 20707.

Stay tuned to our Social Media sites for updates and cancellations. You can also call the Media/Community Events line  at 240-294-1307 that morning for updates as well.

You can watch a re-broadcast of the ceremony on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30th, at Noon and 6 pm on Laurel TV and a livestream will be up on www.laureltv.org as well.
