You may have noticed that the water level at the Upper Laurel Lake pond just off Oxford Drive is a little low.

That’s because the Clean Water Partnership has returned to complete the dredging and erosion maintenance project that wrapped up back in 2017.

Crews will be removing sediment from the pond and fixing bank erosion along the edge.

The pond will be dewatered during the maintenance work. Fish will be safely relocated.

There are signs posted near the Oxford Drive path with more information,

Weather permitting, construction should be finished by July.
