Mayor Craig A. Moe and the Laurel City Council, in partnership with Wreaths Across America and Ivy Hill Cemetery, will be broadcasting a brief, outdoor ceremony LIVE outside the Municipal Center at 8103 Sandy Spring Road at 11 am on the City of Laurel-government Facebook page to honor our fallen military veterans.


 


After the ceremony,  a procession of volunteers and guests will walk across the street to Ivy Hill Cemetery to place wreaths on the graves of the fallen military veterans there.


If you would like to volunteer to place wreaths at Ivy Hill Cemetery,  here’s what you need to do now:


 


  • Visit the website:  WreathsacrossAmerica.org
  • Click on the Volunteer button
  • Select search by cemetery name and select Ivy Hill to volunteer. 

 


The City of Laurel ceremony will be entirely outside this year. Please wear a mask and dress for the weather.
