           Mayor Craig A. Moe wants to get the word out to people who travel along Bowie Road  to  Marshall Avenue in Laurel that the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation is closing that stretch of road for six weeks beginning on Monday, June 21, 2021 .


          The temporary closure will allow for repairs of the existing bridges over the Bear Branch tributary the leads to the Patuxent River.


           Portable message signs have been posted to alert motorists and pedestrians about the closure which will last through September 5, 2021.  Detour signs will also be going up before the closure occurs.
