The City of Laurel will be taking certain features of the MyLaurel MD app offline to fix a few design glitches and improve its functionality. 

Only the citizen request portion of the app will be taken offline while the Department of Information Technology works on it and they expect to have the app back up in working order on Monday, February 15, 2021.

What this means for residents and app users:

  • App users will be unable to submit new requests via the app for several days. The rest of the app will remain functional during this time.
  • In place of the “Request Service or Report Issues” button, users will see a “Requests Maintenance Notice” button, which will display a brief explanation of the maintenance period as well as contact numbers for City Hall, Parks, DPW, and Police.
  • Existing requests will continue to be worked on. City Staff will reach out directly to users regarding those requests where needed, using the email address or phone number that the user provided.
