Our Veterans have sacrificed so much to ensure the freedoms we enjoy! To honor and remember those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our Country, Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that City and Passport Offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, in observance of Veterans’ Day.

The Department of Public Works will be picking up trash and recycling on an altered schedule the week of November 9, 2020:

  • Trash and Recycling collections will be unchanged for Monday, November 9, 2020 and Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
  • Wednesday, November 11, 2020, Trash, Recycling and Composting collections will be on Thursday, November 12, 2020.
  • Trash and Recycling collections will be unchanged for Thursday, November 12, 2020 and Friday, November 13, 2020.
  • There will be no Residential Special Pick Up, Yard Debris collections or Leaf Vacuuming on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. 

The next scheduled Residential Special Pickup and Yard Debris collection will be on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. You can schedule a Residential Special Pickup and Yard Debris Pickup by e-mailing [email protected], using the MyLaurel App or calling the Department of Public Works at 301-725-0088.
