Added Service to be Provided at City of Laurel Recycling Event on October 17th

As part of the City of Laurel’s on-going commitment to reduce landfill waste and promote reuse and re-purpose as part of the recycling chain, Mayor Craig A. Moe is pleased to announce that GreenDrop will be participating in the Recycling event on Saturday, October 17th.

A GreenDrop a truck will be available during the City’s Electronics Recycling and Paper Shredding event on October 17th.  The event is being held at the Department of Public Works which is located at 305-307 First Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

And here’s the really big news.  Besides just dropping off paper and electronics, residents can drop off clothing and small house household appliances for GreenDrop.  A full list of acceptable and unacceptable items can be found here: www.gogreendrop.com
