TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Residents and motorists should take note that on Friday, June 19, 2020, from 2:30pm – 4:00pm, there will be expected road closures for a peaceful BLM March starting at the Towne Centre of Laurel, 14828 Baltimore Avenue, in the parking lot across from Panera Bread.
Beginning at 2:00pm, organizers will start with a ceremony, followed by the march at 2:30pm.
Anticipated road closures will be 4th Street to Montrose Avenue, turn left onto Montrose and proceed to 5th Street. Marchers will turn right onto 5th and end at the Laurel Police Department. They will then follow the same route back to the Towne Centre at Laurel.
Roads will be temporarily closed in both directions for the safety of participants. Motorists should expect increased traffic in the area and find alternate routes until the end of the march.
Laurel Police will be on scene to assist with this event, along with the Department of Public Works.
Please follow Police direction for traffic movement into and out of the area.

A partir de las 2:00 p.m., los organizadores comenzarán con una ceremonia, seguida de la marcha a las 2:30 p.m.
