Craig A. Moe and the 150th Anniversary Executive Committee have agreed that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and in compliance with Governor Hogan’s Executive Order prohibiting gatherings of more than 50 people, the 150th Anniversary Celebration events scheduled for the remainder of March and through April 30, 2020, will be postponed or cancelled.

The Laurel Historical Society’s 150th Anniversary Gala scheduled for April 4, 2020, is cancelled and will be rescheduled. The public will be notified when an alternative date has been determined. The City of Laurel and the 150th Celebration Executive Committee will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and make announcements regarding future events.
