A Laurel man was critically injured today after he was struck by a vehicle that subsequently left the scene. The Laurel Police are asking help from the public to help identify the pictured vehicle, the driver of this vehicle, or the location of the damaged vehicle.  

Just after 2:00pm today, (December 24, 2019) officers responded to 43 Washington Blvd. S., Laurel, MD, in the area of the Fred Frederick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership, in response to a report of a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian who suffered severe injuries. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. 

The vehicle has damage to the front passenger fender and is missing the side view mirror. The vehicle pictured is believed to be a 2016-2018 Black Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid.
