Mayor Craig A. Moe is looking for volunteers to fill three (3) vacancies on the Laurel Arts Council.

If you are interested, please submit a short, personal resume letting the Arts Council know your area of expertise and knowledge, as well as highlighting your skills and accomplishments. Submit it to the Mayor’s Office at 8103 Sandy Spring Road, Laurel, MD 20707.

The City of Laurel Arts Council was appointed by the Mayor in 2017 to encourage and invest in the visual arts, performing arts and arts education programs in Laurel. They encourage the advancement of the arts to benefit all people in the City and organize the display of art in public places, like the recent installation of the mural at the Laurel Municipal Pool.

The Laurel Arts Council meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Laurel Municipal Center and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
