A 39 year old male with no fixed address, is in custody after a double shooting in Laurel on August 31, 2019 at approximately 2:00 AM. 

 

Laurel Police officers responded to the area of Route 198 and Sixth Street for a report of a subject shooting at two males in the parking lot of the Super Suds Laundromat.   Upon arrival Laurel Police officers located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately rendered aid.  Both victims were transported to a local hospital for further treatment and are expected to survive their wounds.

 

Laurel Police detectives were able to identify a suspect and ultimately located him in Baltimore City.   Anne Arundel and Baltimore City police assisted Laurel officers in apprehending the suspect.  He is currently in custody in Baltimore City pending charges there and will face further criminal charges in Laurel upon his release.
