Mayor Craig A. Moe and the Laurel City Council want to remind you that there is an Elderly and Veteran real property tax credit, established by Ordinance No. 1927, adopted on January 10, 2018, and it is now available!
To apply for this real property tax credit, you need to be at least 65 years of age and have lived in the same dwelling for the last 40+ years, or you need to be at least 65 years of age and be a retired member of the uniformed services of the United States, the military reserves or the National Guard.
New applications and verifications for renewals will be accepted at the Laurel Municipal Center in the Department of Budget and Personnel Services until August 30, 2019.

Tax credits will be approved on a first-come, first-serve basis depending upon available funding.
