Laurel Police have made an arrest in the fatal attack on 47 year old Sik Kim of Laurel last month.

 

Investigators say Mr. Kim was hit in the head with a chair during an altercation on June 4,2018  and transported to Baltimore’s Shock Trauma Center in critical condition. He died on June 14, 2018 from complications from the head injuries he sustained in the attack.

 

Detectives identified 48 year old Maury Wayne Harris of Howard County Laurel as a suspect in the incident.  Laurel Police took him into custody without incident at his home in Laurel on July 5, 2018 with the assistance of the Howard County Police Department’s Warrant/Fugitive Unit.

 

Harris is now facing 1st and 2nd degree murder charges and is being held without bond.
