Summer officially arrives this Thursday, but the HEAT has already made an appearance. To help our Public Works crews, Mayor Craig A. Moe has announced that trash/recycling collection times will change for the summer!

For June, July, and August, Public Works is asking you to put your trash and recycling at the curb by 7:00AM (moving from 7:30am), so our crews can be done with their collection routes before the high heat of the day.

To make it easier, our local Ordinance states you can have your trash and recycling out to the curb after 7:30pm the night before. So, if 7:00am is too early, be sure to take advantage of the Ordinance and put out your trash cans and recycle bins the night before your regular collection day!

If you have any questions, please call Public Works at 301-725-0088.
