If you are following the progress of the MAGLEV Project, you’ll want to attend or watch the next Mayor and City Council meeting.

It will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers of the Laurel Municipal Center, located at 8103 Sandy Spring Road.

Mayor Craig A. Moe and the Laurel City Council recently were presented with both sides of the subject at the Work Session on February 7th, weighing the pros and cons of this high speed mode of transportation between Washington, DC and Baltimore.

Other cities along the B/W Parkway are discussing how this will affect their cities and residents as well, so stay in the know and come to the meeting on Monday and give your input to the Mayor and City Council.

Or you can watch it on Laurel TV at Comcast 996/71 or Verizon 12 if you live within the city limits. If you don’t, then watch it at LaurelTV.org through live web streaming.

If you have any questions, call the Mayor or your Council representatives at 301-725 5300.
