Released on October 3, 2017 - 10:58am

With the Laurel High School Homecoming Parade this Saturday, October 7, 2017, we have a traffic alert for you.

Mayor Craig A. Moe wants residents and travelers through Laurel to be aware that the two far right lanes in the Westbound side of Cherry Lane will be closed for the Laurel High School Homecoming Parade as it heads to Laurel High School from approximately 10am – 11am, so please find alternate routes and avoid this area if possible. However, access for all Emergency vehicles will be maintained during this closure.

There will also be No Parking Signs posted throughout the Laurel Lakes development on Cypress Street, Oxford Drive, Ashford Boulevard and 4th Street, starting early in the morning on October 7th, to allow the parade route access as it moves through these neighborhoods.

Traffic control devices will be installed to make drivers aware of the closing. Thank you for your cooperation and safe driving!
