Released on September 12, 2017 - 4:34pm

Due to it getting dark earlier this time of year, the Laurel Police Department’s Community Emergency Preparedness event on September 19, 2017, will now be held from 6 - 8pm at Laurel Lakes!

Mayor Craig A. Moe and Laurel Police Chief Richard McLaughlin invite residents and businesses to enjoy demonstrations from the Laurel Police Department, the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department, the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Prince George’s County Fire Department’s Bomb Squad, along with lots of games and food!

Most importantly, you’ll go home with valuable information to help you plan to be prepared and protect your family in case of an emergency. Plan on attending early so you can get the most out of it!

For more information, please contact Lt. Erik Lynn at the Laurel Police Department at 301-498-0092 or email Lt. Lynn at [email protected].
