Laurel Police have arrested Barry Linn Richardson, Jr. of Laurel for the May 29, 2017 armed robbery of the Napa Auto Parts store on Main Street.

Detectives say Richardson walked into the store in the 300 block of Main Street brandishing a handgun and demanding money.


Detectives have been following leads and doing interviews, and identified Richardson as the suspect.   He was arrested without incident on July 7, 2017.


Richardson is now charged with armed robbery, robbery, 1st and 2nd degree assault, and use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime, and theft.


During his arrest, police filed additional charges against Richardson for possession of a handgun and CDS distribution.


Richardson is being held at the Prince George’s County Detention Facility.
