On Tuesday, December 11, 2007, Mayor Craig A. Moe formally dedicated the newest meeting room at the Laurel Municipal Center in honor of M. Peggy Anderson. Mayor Moe stated that two other meeting rooms had been named for local Laurelites that have had an impact on the City, Dr. and Mrs. Richard Compton and former Mayor Joseph Robison. Councilmember Michael Leszcz recommended that the newest meeting room be dedicated to Mrs. Anderson. All Councilmembers agreed this was an excellent choice. Mrs. Anderson is a sitting member of the Laurel Planning Commission. The ceremony took place prior to the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting.

In attendance were Council President Fred Smalls and Councilmembers Michael R. Leszcz and Gayle Snyder. Also present were Planning Commission Chair Michael Walls, members of the Planning Commission, members of Mrs. Anderson
